Near the Ranch
Antler Basin Ranch, through its relationship with the Fraser River Ranch, offers renters the ability to access private fly fishing on the Fraser River.
BEAUTIFUL FISH AND GORGEOUS SURROUNDINGS:
The Fraser River is a Colorado Gold Medal designated fly fishery in the Colorado high country with its headwaters on the west side of the Continental Divide on Berthoud Pass in Grand County. The Fraser is a free-stone river with no reservoir controls therefore providing an annual cleansing though sometimes
heavy runoff that helps to maintain the health of the river by clearing sediment. This creates healthy spawning beds and more than ample bug life for very healthy, strong trout.
Fraser River Ranch usually offers a stocked pond.
There is an additional fee for this private fly fishing access that will depend upon number of fishermen, guides, time of year, etc.
In Grand County
With 1,000s of miles of streams and rivers, 1,000 acres of high mountain lakes, and 11,000 acres of reservoirs, Grand County's abundant resources accommodate fishing of all kinds. Enjoy world-class fishing in our gold medal waters that flow throughout Grand County.
License Information
A Colorado fishing license is required for every fisherman over 16 years old. Children under 16 don't need a fishing license, but may take only half the legal limit. Licenses are available at locations throughout the county.
